There are plenty of fine Russian immigrants many of then however were deprived of a Jewish upbringing and many of them because of their backgrounds have not a true moral compass as crime was the only way to survive under a communist regime. You should never be tested in such a way but if you grew up in such circumstances lets see how well you would be. Obviously as stated above if guilty I am not justifying murder as some crimes are inexcusable but it is a lack of achdus and understanding to condemn a whole community based on the actions of one person Reply »6. #5 I couldn't agree with you more. That is why some of these posters should spend less time being so critical and more time getting to know some of these people. They need to be taught about Judaism because they are such easy targets for groups like the messianics. They don't end up in those churches intentionally - it is through lack of knowledge and we are the ones who must teach them. We must also support counter-messianic organizations such as the wonderful Jews for Judaism. Reply »
